Once a week for 90 minutes, we’ll discover and revisit the parts of a paragraph, use exercises to practice writing a paragraph, and eventually—with consistency—improve a 5-sentence paragraph. Spring semester 2022 theme is “Insecure No More,” so students will build emotional confidence along with writing skills.

How Does My Student Access Class Sessions?
Registered families who’ve (1) made their first subscription payment and (2) signed the agreement, receive an email within 2 business days with a class session link to attend weekly. Save the email in order to attend sessions each week.
What Software Does My Student Need to Attend Class Sessions?
Use the Zoom link we send for your web browser window. Or, you can also download the free Zoom app (you do not need to create an account).
Prepare to use a laptop or desktop with a webcam and mic for the best experience.
Enter your first name and last initial, or your first initial and last name to match registration information for admission into the class.
Note that you must show yourself on camera in order to participate, no hiding.
You can join on your phone (Android use Chrome, iOS use Safari) but the experience is best on a laptop/desktop.
Update to a recent version of Chrome or Firefox.
Plan to use a strong internet connection in order to view and participate.
Get earbuds or headphones to prevent audio echoes.
Can Parents Be On Screen With Their Child?
One person on the screen only. Parents are welcome to listen in, but must allow their children to enjoy the safe space without parental or class interference.
