Part 1

Think insecurity is your problem? Well, actually, it’s just a symptom of the real problem. And when you treat symptoms they may subside for a while, but it’s only a matter of time before you’re overcome again. So what’s the root that needs a pull-up? I talk more about it—and even offer a biblical remedy—in this 1st video of the 4-part miniseries “Insecure No More.” Only once you get this, will the remaining parts of this miniseries have power.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” —John 8:31-32 (ESV)

PRAYER FOR YOU

Father God, the one and only true God, who saves and changes, I pray that You will draw those to You who struggle with insecurity and deliver them from the root of the symptom. Show them their need for Christ, and the difference between a “Christian” and a true “disciple of Christ” who abides, remains and endures in the DEVOTION to and APPLICATION of Christ’s teachings and doctrines. In the name of Your Son and our only true Savior Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

DID YOU KNOW?

If you think because you went to an altar and “gave your life to Christ,” that it ends there—you’ve got it all wrong. Just because you say you’re a “Christian,” doesn’t mean you belong to God. The real indicator that you truly belong to Him depends on whether you (1) abide, (2) remain and (3) endure in the doctrines of Christ via DEVOTION + APPLICATION. Only that reveals whether you’re His disciple. And only that will set you free from being dominated by sin + its (like insecurity) symptoms.

Part 2

Since insecurity is just a sign that you lack confidence in God, I told you in yesterday’s video that you must:

(1) find salvation in Christ and then
(2) abide, remain and endure in the DEVOTION to and APPLICATION of Christ’s teachings and doctrines

…in order to treat the root (dangerous hidden doubts) of insecurity.

You got that, right? Ok, on to the next! In this 2nd video of the 4-part miniseries “Insecure No More,” I share what you need in order to experience that “godly confidence” I left off with in the 1st video.

“In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence…” —Proverbs 14:26 (ESV)

PRAYER FOR YOU

Father God, the one and only true God, who saves and changes, I pray that You will draw those to You who struggle with insecurity and deliver them from the root of the symptom. Show them their need for Christ, and the difference between a “Christian” and a true “disciple of Christ” who abides, remains and endures in the DEVOTION to and APPLICATION of Christ’s teachings and doctrines.

Father, please instigate a change in their attitude towards You, by helping them to keep themselves under Your Lordship. Work in their hearts to bring them to a place where they can stop lording over their life, in order to experience godly confidence in the pure act of understanding You are superior.

In the name of Your Son and our only true Savior Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Part 3

In order to experience godly confidence, attitude is everything and you must behave in a manner that shows you understand:

(1) you are inferior to God, and
(2) He is superior to you

That means, no more Lording over your life and playing god. You got that, right? Ok, on to the next! In this 3rd video of the 4-part miniseries “Insecure No More,” I share what you need in order to experience the “security” I left off with in the 2nd video.

“…but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us…” —2 Corinthians 10:12-13 (KJV)

And please God, show them that they are not the measure for themselves, but rather the standard You have imparted to them, so they can experience true security. In the name of Your Son and our only true Savior Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

Part 4

The moral of the “Insecure No More” miniseries is this (watch final video).

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord.” –Jeremiah 17:7 (ESV)
